Sports Professionalism in Football Clubs in Palestine
(An Analytical Study to Identify Obstacles from the Administrations' Point of View)
Abstract
The study aimed to identify the obstacles of sports professionalism in football clubs in Palestine from the view point of the administrations. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the analytical descriptive approach by applying the electronic questionnaire to a random sample of 100 managers from Palestinian football clubs. The results of the study revealed that the obstacles of sports professionalism in football clubs in Palestine stem from three main axes, which are the administrative policies, the administrative legislation, and administrative human resources where these all obstacles came with high degrees. The results also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences in the three obstacles to sports professionalism (administrative policies, administrative legislation, and administrative human resources) in football clubs in Palestine attributed to the variables of academic qualification and years of experience. The study recommended the need for linking modern technology in administrative processes to increase efficiency and integrate departments.
