Employing Silk Screen Printing with Decoupage to Make Artistic Crafts

Abstract

In the current study, the researcher has discussed the fine possibilities of silk screen printing, decoupage and the artistic characteristics that it achieves in an attempt to take advantage of the aesthetics which was resulted from the combination of silk screen and decoupage to reach the best ways that may be useful for textile printing to achieve innovative works of art that are resulting from the combination of the two methods. The researcher in this research has reached to the following results:

• Adapting fine and aesthetic potentials of both methods and employing them in innovative formative formulations, whether in terms of prepared design or performance methods.
• Taking advantage of Indian decorations to enrich the artistic values in the designs.
• To reach innovative aesthetic and formative potentials by combining for both ways of the silk screen and the decoupage.
• Combining between the silk screen technology and decoupage technology to achieve innovative artistic and formative potential.
• The silk screen depicted helps to find a lot of possibilities.
