A Strategy to Produce Metal Tourist Product for Supporting Productive Families Projects and Achieving Sustainable Development in line with Saudi Arabia's 2030 Vision
Abstract
This research presents a strategy for supporting Saudi productive families and the Micro-Enterprises, aiming at the production of metal tourists products. Such products would be of moral and material value sufficient to transform them into products capable of competing in the Arab and international markets. Tourism is a recent and a promising sector in Saudi Arabia that has been given a great deal of attention on the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
The importance of the research stems from the idea that its objectives align with the new developmental strategies of the Kingdom. This includes devoting a certain amount of attention to women affairs and improving their abilities besides facilitating opportunities for their participation in developmental activities. In addition, these strategies emphasize on improving the tourism sector and increasing the contribution of small and Micro-Enterprises projects in national economy. Strategies also include supporting the Saudi tourism market with tourist metal pieces that reflect the heritage of the Kingdom, ones that are also capable to compete nationally and globally.
We propose here strategies that enable development of Saudi tourism metal products, to empower Saudi women in the field of manufacturing and developing their creative capabilities, and to increase the contribution of the national workforce in the development sectors. The latter includes paying attention to improving their qualifications and training for a better production, encouraging the practice of self-employment and diversification and expansion in the scope of production for productive families. The research also aims to develop the local market by supporting creative businesses and providing new investment to this sector.
