Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence has significantly advanced the economies of social media networks, positioning them at the forefront of knowledge-based economies. It has also shaped the future of human communication. The effectiveness, ease of use, and economic viability of artificial intelligence have transformed it from a mere technological luxury into a functional and structural necessity. Among the fields most influenced by artificial intelligence, media occupies a leading position. This impact is particularly evident in content production in all its forms. For instance, artificial intelligence can generate up-to-date news stories by combining data with algorithms. Accordingly, studies indicate that in 2022, the global market for artificial intelligence in the entertainment and media sector was estimated at approximately 15 billion USD, with projected growth of 18.4% between 2023 and 2030 (Chan, 2017).

This paper examines the impact of artificial intelligence applications on media in enhancing creativity and innovation. These applications include AI-driven processes in content creation, such as writing and editing texts, designing infographics, and producing videos. The discussion will address the tools and algorithms that enable the development of innovative, high-quality media content, in addition to advanced techniques such as deep learning and natural language processing. The analysis will explore how artificial intelligence contributes to creativity in the media field by allowing practitioners to focus on the more creative and innovative dimensions of their work. The research will also investigate how AI can be used to analyze big data and understand audience preferences, thereby facilitating the production of customized and innovative content that more accurately meets audience needs. Furthermore, the study will address the ethical and professional challenges associated with the use of artificial intelligence in media creativity, including issues of intellectual property and credibility. By reviewing current developments and future challenges, the study aims to provide a forward-looking vision of media creativity in light of artificial intelligence. Recommendations will be offered on how media institutions can adopt these technologies in a sustainable and responsible manner while upholding standards of quality and credibility. In conclusion, this research seeks to provide future-oriented insights into the role of artificial intelligence in fostering media creativity, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges that this field may encounter in the coming years.
