The Hero Image in the Poetry of Ibn Al-Taeawaydhi (D 583 AH)
(Studying of a selected samples of his poetry)
Abstract
The hero has been occupied as the idealized image in people's minds for years and our Arab poetry has abounded the images of these heroes throughout the ages as strong fighters who led armies and were keys to victory over enemies, This study clarifies the image of the hero in the poetry of Ibn Al-taeawaydhi and focuses on the characteristics of this hero and the epic role that he embodied in the battles against the enemies and how to convey the image of this hero through the poet to the recipient through expressive indications, so this poetic image represents an eternal record of his heroism, these heroes are read by generations as the years pass.
The researcher divided his research into axes, It came on the first axis: The image of the totalitarian hero (total), who is characterized by all the elements of heroism, courage and equestrian. Then the second axis: Partial hero portrait under all: The image of this hero is embodied in the princes, ministers, judges, and army revolutionaries who have heroic deeds related to and interact within the framework of the totalitarian hero.
Then the search moved to the third axis: Equestrianism and heroism: Equestrian means heroism in war and the country in battle, and chastity for the distribution of spoils, feeding the guest, protecting the tribe, defending the woman, and answering the call of the one in distress. The research was appended to a conclusion, in which the research recorded its most important results, appended to a list of sources, distributed among the ancient and modern sources of criticism.
