Abstract

Childhood constitutes a large part of the interest in science and scientists at the present time, and it is considered one of the milestones that inferred the crystallization of scientific awareness in society, as the study of childhood represents part of the interest in the present and the future together. This stage is characterized by the rapid physical growth of the child, and random movements that the child needs for his growth, and the child depends on his mother at this stage, and his behavior is related to physiological functions such as feeding, sleeping and excretion processes, and his world is limited to things that affect his senses directly, and therefore the child was called in this stage the newborn And, the child depends on others at this stage, and therefore beautiful clothes must be chosen for him to attract others to him, taking into account the characteristics of childhood.

research aims :

  1- Determine the characteristics of children's clothing in the cradle stage.

2- Study the aesthetic and functional dressing requirements for children's clothes in the cradle stage, according to the child's needs.

3- Creating designs for children's clothes in the cradle stage that achieve the aesthetic aspect.

4- Creating designs for children's clothes in the cradle stage that achieve the functional aspect.

The research found:

    Preparation of a group of designs called "Thermoclothes", which are designed for babies in the cradle stage, consisting of 6 designs.

First design: salopit (over first) suitable for age 3 months.

Second style: ruffle dress and hat, suitable for age 12 months.

The third design: Salobette (Over the first) suitable for the age of 6 months.

Fourth Style: Skirt and Blouse, Suitable for Age 18 Months.

Fifth design: Pajamas suitable for 3 months old.

Sixth design: Salobette (Over the first) suitable for the age of 12 months.
