Legal Legislation and Its Role in Facing the Corona Pandemic

Abstract

Iraq and the rest of the countries of the whole world are suffering from a virus and the Corona pandemic, or the so-called Covid 19. In the fact,  it is a reason to talk about the legislative confrontation with such types of epidemics and viruses.because we know that legal legislation has a detailed position on exposure to such kind of epidemics and diseases that can be spread, Therefore, we decided to discuss these legislations, and explain the legal measures adopted by local legislation in Iraq and in the face of such kinds of phenomena that would affect the health and lives of citizens and individuals. Through the research, it becomes clear to us that there is no direct reference to this epidemic that is rampant at the level of national legislation and laws, which is called Covid (19) or Corona, but legislation has talked about epidemics and diseases that are generally spreadable, and perhaps this virus came to be applied and consistent with this meaning.
