Protecting Children's Rights in Iraq and the Role of Local Governments After 2008
(Between the constitutional texts and the practical reality)

Abstract
The needs are increased and more responsibilities for the central government, and some countries have tended to share the administrative and financial position between governments, with some sort of relationship remaining and transferring it to another. Through the increasing tasks, powers, and competencies of the local government in Iraq after 2003, and then enacting a law for those governments specializing in the formation between the relationship between them and the central government and transferring those powers within committees that include child rights committees and their association with international and local organizations on mechanisms and individual rights in terms of care and care For the child. The local government has a benefit from the goals towards the citizens through the geographical location and creating a feeling among the individuals locally about justice and individual rights. From the formation of legislation and powers that make the government interested in all rights.
