The Philosophical Concepts of Contemporary Artistic Trends to Enrich Expressive Formative Formulations in Sculpture

Abstract

 The research presents the relationship between the philosophical concepts of contemporary artistic trends and their role in enriching the expressive formative formulations in sculpture, and the development of materials, techniques and many artistic ideas related to the concept of sculptural form and its construction elements in an attempt, formal formulations for some intellectual and philosophical concepts and their aesthetic relationship with sculptural form, through some sculptural works that enrich a few concepts of contemporary trends that have been used to enrich beauty and philosophy and as well as enrich expressive formation from six axes, through which some contemporary sculptural trends, their origins and characteristics are reviewed, then some philosophical concepts are examined and some sculptural works are analysed, showing the extent of expressive formative richness added to them through some philosophical concepts of contemporary trends and the application of personal experience, through which the researcher came to the conclusion, that the sculptor can achieve formative formulations through the philosophical concepts of contemporary trends that added new dimensions to the vision in sculptural artistic works and established advanced artistic rules in the use of materials, tools and their techniques and proposed contemporary solutions to express mass and space as components. For artistic creativity, sculpture and the viewer have become a common language for intellectual communication through the expressive content reflected in the viewer’s admiration for the sculpture. She emphasised the need to draw attention to the study of contemporary artistic trends in sculpture and their philosophical concepts, and to conduct studies and experiments in order to benefit from the latest innovations in materials and their techniques in the field of sculpture.
